Plywood is a thin board consisting of three or more layers, which is made by cutting logs into veneer or wood planing into thin pieces, and then bonding them with adhesive. Usually, odd layer veneers are used, and the fiber directions of adjacent layer veneers are arranged perpendicular to each other and glued together.

Therefore, there are odd numbered layers of plywood such as three in one, five in one, and seven in one.
18mm multi-layer plywood E1 grade
Structurally, the outer layer of plywood is called a veneer, and the front panel is called a panel, which is made of high-quality veneer. The reverse panel is called the back panel, and the second highest quality single panel is used. The inner layer of veneer is called core board or medium board, composed of low-quality veneer.
The plywood produced has the following characteristics:
1、 Plywood has all the advantages of natural wood, such as light bulk density, high strength, beautiful texture, insulation, etc. It can also compensate for some natural defects of natural wood, such as knots, small width, deformation, and large differences in longitudinal and transverse mechanics.
2、 The production of plywood can effectively utilize the logs. Due to its absence of sawdust, it can produce 1 cubic meter of plywood for every 2.2-2.5 cubic meters of logs, which can replace about 5 cubic meters of logs sawn into boards. Additionally, for every 1 cubic meter of plywood product produced, it can produce 1.2-1.5 cubic meters of residue, making it a good raw material for producing medium density fiberboard and particle board.
Due to its advantages such as small deformation, large width, convenient construction, no warping, and good transverse tensile resistance, plywood has many advantages. Therefore, this product is mainly used in various board materials for furniture manufacturing, interior decoration, and residential construction. Secondly, it is used in industrial sectors such as shipbuilding, vehicle manufacturing, various military and light industrial products, and packaging.
